Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? Are you longing for the return of our Lord? I’ve had an impression that even some Christians put a long face on them, when they hear of the end-times. What would make them still long for this world soiled by injustice and wickedness, while we see all creatures groaning? I think one of the reasons would be the lack of vision on the new world to come. Many people have an impression that Heaven will be boring with angels playing harps and we sing praises all the time. I don’t believe Heaven will be ever boring, as our Father is Creator and His Creativity is beyond our imagination. Yet, I think many Christians lack in vision on 1,000 Years of reign, i.e. Millennium. In 2016, I took a class on the book of Revelation. It was a weekly evening class after work. My friend invited me to join her; so I attended the class with her and I liked it. While I took the class, I also watched David Pawson’s teachings on the book of Revelation recorded in the US many years back. After I watched his teaching on Millennium, I began to be so interested in knowing more of it. And I began to look forward to it. There will be Millennium before the new heaven and the new earth comes. Jesus will reign and He will be King and Judge of all nations on earth. And we will reign with Him for 1,000 years. To the faithful, He will entrust ten cities, a nation or even more. We will work with Him to restore the earth as He originally intended. Nature and animals as well as humans will be glad, for we will restore the life in Eden. Recently, I got to watch Neville Johnson’s teaching on 1,000 Years and read his book “Secrets of the Kingdom, volume I.” He shared what the Lord showed Him when he was caught up into the third Heaven. It was quite in line with what David Pawson shared. I think the Lord gave David Pawson the Spirit of Wisdom and Knowledge through the Scriptures so that he understood what the Millennium would look like, while He caught Neville Johnson into the Heaven and showed him in person what it would look like. In order to encourage you to have vision on what is coming and encourage you to long for Millennium, I would like to share some of the things Neville Johnson wrote on Millennium, and Reign of Christ, in his book: Rebuilding: A massive building program will get underway. Civil engineers, architects, and planners will be needed. God’s people will be involved in planning and rebuilding the new world of tomorrow. Ecology will need to be re-balanced as a new climate takes hold. Science and Technology will not be discarded but will reach its zenith. Economics: The present economic systems of the world based on profit will be discarded for an equitable and fair system with plenty for all. The Music and Arts: This will reach a level unprecedented in human history. No More Famine A University at Jerusalem: There will be a teaching center at Jerusalem where the Lord Himself will teach us of His ways. Can you imagine the subjects that will be taught? Planet Management, Astral Physics, Agricultural Science, Celestial Music, Cosmic Energy, The Power of Love, Secrets of the Universe, Economics, etc. God is preparing a people for this New Age and you have been chosen to live in this century when the climax of these things will occur. Your destiny is tied up with this. God is looking for a people. He is running an ad. Throughout the body of Christ, the cry of the Spirit is: Wanted: (To build a New Age)
Friend, aren’t you excited? You might want to work in the department of Economics? I might learn Agriculture from the Lord! Neville Johnson said some would be in charge of even galaxies! One day in my Singapore church, a sister said to me, “If we live in the last days, why should I teach my daughter and send her to school? Jesus would return soon and her education here would be useless.” What do you think? I think not only unbelievers but some Christians like her would ask that question. Jesus is looking for trustworthy people who can steward what He has given here. If you are a mother or a housewife, and do your work faithfully, He would entrust a galaxy or a nation to you. If you are a faithful student, He would entrust ten cities to you. He is interested in what our heart attitude is, not what our career on earth is. He watches to see if you’ve been faithful in finance, talents, time and so on, to give Him glory. We are not here only to be saved and raptured and to end up in Heaven. Our Father put a great plan for us from the beginning and look for His sons and daughters who will rule and reign with Him here on earth! I can’t wait to witness this glorious manifestation of the divine plan. Friend, even when we see many tribulations and turbulence in the days to come, please do not be discouraged. It has been slated and must come to pass before His return. And we have hope and goal in Him. We press forward to win the prize to reign with Jesus for 1,000 years. I do not know whether it’s literal or symbolic, but it will be really long. See how temporary it is to live here, but so many people focus on the cares of this world only? We will have a lot of works to do with our King. Are you willing to be obedient here on earth? Living in this world temporarily is kind of a probation period when He tests us to see whether we are qualified for the positions to reign with the King in the Millennium for 1,000 years. We must be meek and obedient to the King of kings. I pray that you and I long for the return of our King and we share this gospel of Kingdom with the hopeless world. Dear Friend, get ready! The Kingdom is at hand! Have a bliss! Yunee And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. (Revelation 20:4~6) Dear Friend, How are you? I’m very well. On December 25th, 2020, I had a few dreams. In one of the dreams, Irene Wong, the Singaporean artist with the prophetic anointing was painting in my room. I knew she was painting me, and I watched over her painting. In her canvas, she painted one of my eyes. It was so big that it consisted of more than half of the canvas. She painted my eye with brown color, which I thought in the beginning was for my iris. But she painted it with white and the rest of the eye was brown. I liked her creative way of painting my eye, as if the iris was light. When she finally finished painting the very big eye of mine, I was very happy with her artwork and I did like it so much. Then, to my room came a classmate of my high school. She seemed to rent one of the rooms in my house. And I got to know that Irene would paint her in the nude sometime later at night. I was so surprised, as I thought I had never seen Irene paint a nude. And I was made uncomfortable about her painting a nude in my room, without asking me in person before. Then, strangely, Irene measured my body with a ruler in front of the mirror and I giggled, as I felt tickled, when she measured me. I felt it weird for her to measure me while she planned to paint a nude of my classmate. Yet I felt somehow that I could not disapprove her plan to paint it. So, I asked her when exactly she would come again to paint her, as I didn’t want to see the nudity of my classmate, but rather stay in my mom’s room. But she didn’t answer my question and I woke up from the dream. When I was able to recall the dream that Irene painted a very big eye for me, I was glad, thinking the eye would mean seer anointing. And I felt as if I received a Christmas gift from the Lord just on the Christmas. Yet I wanted to check what else eye could mean so that I looked up James Goll’s book, Dream Language and found out it symbolizes omniscience, knowledge, sight, insight, foresight. Then I was reminded of the dream I had the other night where Neville Johnson shared the hidden truth of Jesus with me in person. But I could not recall what it was, or I think it was concealed in the dream. Keeping the symbolic meaning of the eye in mind, I tried to interpret the eye dream. When I thought of my classmate in my high school in that dream, I became very surprised to see her. It’s been decades to see her even in my dream, since my graduation of high school. We were not close to one another. She didn’t seem to have many friends or even a close friend. She was an introvert and she was not a good student in terms of performance. She was regarded as kind of low intelligent, though my friends and I never verbally said that. But I had an impression that she was not smart enough to follow all the classes in high school. And she was not good-looking at all, objectively speaking. Sometimes, I had difficulty in trying to understand what she was saying, as her pronunciation was not clear. I was never mean to her, but I was not close to her, neither. So, it was very unexpected to see her in my dream, as I think I’ve never thought of her since the graduation of high school. Yet, the longer I chewed on the dream, the more certain I felt the Lord must have something to teach me using the symbolic meaning of this classmate. And I also learned that it’s not always quick and easy to interpret dreams. Sometimes it would take days and I think Neville Johnson said it took years for him to interpret one of his dreams. So, I thought I would not be discouraged, even if I would not be able to interpret it any time soon. But rather, I would keep chewing on it till I make sense of it. Graciously enough, now I was able to understand what it would mean, with the Scriptures from Job 42:1~6. Then Job answered the Lord and said: “I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. Listen, please, and let me speak; You said, ‘I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’ “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.” When the Lord gives us eyes to see, i.e. knowledge, insight from Him, I think we realize how little we know. We think we know it all. But Job realized he uttered what he didn’t understand, and he felt he loathe himself, when he got to see the Lord. I felt Irene in my dream might symbolize the Holy Spirit. And He was actually painting my nudity, measuring my body, but the model was someone who I thought is retarded and not pretty. When the Lord reveals Himself and I get to see Him, I only realize how ignorant and how ugly I was, yet I thought I knew it all. A few days after the dream, I read a Walter Beuttler’s book, “The Manifest Presence of God: My Spiritual Journey.” While reading it, I felt the Lord confirmed His message on the dream through his writings, with the Scripture from Matthew 11:25: At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.” But there are people who think they know everything. The fact is that they know so little; they don’t know enough to know that there is more to know. The more you know, the more you know how little you know in comparison to what there is still to be known. The more we enlarge the circle of our knowledge, the more we enlarge the awareness of how much there still is that we do not know. Here we have the conceited, the snobs, the know-it-alls, the unteachable, the critics, and the Lord says, “All right Father, I thank you that you have hid these truths from the snobs.” Now people who are uneducated can be snobs too. I don’t think that has anything to do here with education. It has to do with an attitude, a critical, snobbish, know-it-all attitude. “Hast revealed them unto babes.” Who are the babes? I would say the humble, the simple, the open, the responsive, the hungry, the uncritical babes. Beuttler, Walter. The Manifest Presence of God: The Spiritual Journey of Walter Beuttler (pp. 113-115). Deeper Lift Press. Kindle Edition. Later when I read the Genesis, I found it interesting that Satan tempted Eve, saying when her eyes will be opened, she will be like God. Adam and Even were tempted and they wanted to be like God, but they ended up realizing they were naked and feeling ashamed. Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” … Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. (Genesis 3:4~5, 7) Friend, I do not know how many years you have been a Christian or whether you even graduated from seminary. But I pray that you and I remain humble and teachable, no matter how much and how long we were educated. The more we know, the more we realize how little we know. We surrender ourselves to the Omniscient and Faithful Father. May His truth and knowledge open our eyes in Jesus’ name. Have a bliss! Yunee I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? On January 13th, 2021, I read and prayed the Scriptures, John 4:23~24: But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. Then, I began to be curious as to what the word, ‘worship’ in the original language would mean. So, I looked up the blueletterbible.org and found the worship in Greek is proskyneo and it means:
3. in the New Testament by kneeling or prostration to do homage (to one) or make obeisance, whether in order to express respect or to make supplication In Strong’s definition, it would be a probable derivative of kyon, i.e. dog (meaning to kiss, like a dog licking his master's hand); to fawn or crouch to, i.e. (literally or figuratively) prostrate oneself in homage (do reverence to, adore). While reading “meaning to kiss, a dog’s licking his master’s hand,” I couldn’t understand more this description of defining the word, ‘worship.’ My doggie girl loves licking my hands and arms. She knew from her puppy times who in our family likes to be licked and who doesn’t. So, she doesn’t lick my mom and my sister much, but she licks my arms and hands. Then, I even gave her my legs and feet and she licked them so passionately. My sister used to say, “Ewww!”, but I said to her, “It’s her way of showing her love and loyalty to me.” Of course, my hands and arms stink from her saliva, but I don’t care, as I can always wash them. I would rather enjoy receiving her love and adoration and I do love it. From this experience, I think I can understand what our worship should be like. Friend, are you being offended when you hear we worship the Lord, like a dog licks his master? I wish you are not. I think the analogy that we are like dogs in front of Him is far beyond what it should be. I think we are not even liken to flea in dogs. We serve and worship the Creator and Possessor of the universe, the Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient God! We are not worthy to loosen His sandals, seriously. And I was also reminded of what Derek Prince wrote on falling prostrate in his book, “Entering the Presence of God”: I question whether any man or woman who has never been on his or her face before God has ever been very close to God. You would have to search quite a way through the Bible to find any of the really great men of Scripture who had not been on their faces before God. I practice this posture of worship, not as a matter of legalism or ritual, but out of a need for security. I have found that the most secure place I know of is on my face before God. That is the way to greatness—get on your face before God. Prince , Derek. Entering the Presence of God (p. 145). Whitaker House. Kindle Edition. Recently, while praying and reading the Scriptures, I realized that Mary, the sister of Martha was described many times in this humble posture, and I believe she is a true worshiper: And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. (Luke 10:39); Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” (John 11:32); Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. (John 12:3) And I believe our adoration and reverence toward our Lord must be reflected through our daily life. Derek Prince wrote on worshiping in truth, saying all liars have no access to the presence of Almighty God (Revelation 21:8). And that’s why we have to worship in truth. He wrote further: This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.(1 John 1:5–6) When we come to God, we are coming into the light. There is no room for darkness, no room for reservations, and no room for insincerity. Everything has to be totally open. Notice the phrase, “we have fellowship with Him.” Fellowship and worship go closely together. Both fellowship and worship require unwavering honesty, sincerity, and openness. We must worship God “in truth.” Prince , Derek. Entering the Presence of God (p. 47). Whitaker House. Kindle Edition. Neville Johnson said in his teaching, “The Five Offerings: A Key to Personal Revival” that many people who don’t read the Bible read our life and our action, and they would see God in us or something else, quoting 2 Corinthians 3:2, “You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men.” He continued that the people in our office have no problem in accepting the Bible, the credibility of the Word of God, thanks to archaeology, but they have problem in accepting the credibility of Christians. The attack of the enemy is against leaders and Christians. They read our life very easily. They look for the Words’ becoming flesh in our lives and that’s what God is after. He encouraged us to love our neighbors, not by our preaching, but by how we live and what we do. The Word, the Truth and the Light should become reality in our daily living. I can’t agree more with and thank more the teachings of Derek Prince and Neville Johnson. Friend, Are you willing to worship in truth, by obeying and keeping the Lord’s commandments? I know it will cost a lot of sacrifice, but I choose to be a true worshiper. I’m not perfect, but I trust the Spirit of truth, the Helper would help me, to fulfill my destiny. Friend, I pray that you and I love God and worship Him, humbling ourselves in adoration toward Him. And I also pray we love our neighbors and we become the letters of Christ to them, in Yeshua’s name. Have a bliss! Yunee And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. (Ephesians 5:2) Dear Friend, How are you? I’m well. On January 13th, 2021, I had a dream where I seemed to be in a company’s office. It seemed as though my colleagues and I were preparing for an exam. Thus, we set a table in the corner of the pantry. My colleagues and I were sitting around the table and I put my Bible and my journal notebook on the table and went somewhere for a while. When I got back to the table, I noticed my Bible and journal notebook disappeared. I tried to locate them, and I finally found them out in the sink of the pantry. They got wet from the water in the sink. Especially the ink on my journal notebook spread all over the paper and I got so angry. I went back to the table where my colleagues sat and I threw my Bible and notebook to the table, asking them who did that. They kept silent, but they seemed to know who did that. Later, I got to know Hilary (not her real name), the personal assistant of the head in the office did that. But she pretended for long that she didn’t do that. Being so angry, I asked her why she did that to me. And she said, “Your reading the Bible and journaling reminded me of my husband, and I hate it.” I felt her excuse was nonsense and I rebuked her. When I awoke and was able to recall the dream, I found it so funny, but I felt it was from the Lord and thought I knew what the dream meant. Hilary, the assistant of the head in the office served a very long year till her early sixties, to my recollection. I heard that she was laid off, after I left the company. She went to church, but not regularly. And her way of living did not represent Jesus at all. My Christian colleague and I called her Jezebel, just between the two of us, as we thought she was so evil. She tried to control all the employees, even including her boss and make the office her kingdom. Under her, she had a few assistants to report to her, and a lady who cleaned the pantry also reported to her. She bullied her subordinates that they left the company one by one, as they couldn’t put up with her torments anymore. When I recalled the dream, I interpreted that she represented Satan. With regard to her saying that my reading the Bible and journaling reminded her of her husband, I interpreted her husband doesn’t literally mean her real husband, but Jesus. As James W. Goll shared in his article, 8 Common People in Dreams, “A husband in your dream often means that Christ Jesus the Lord is drawing ever so close in a covenant relationship,”I think the husband she mentioned represented Jesus, though it doesn’t mean Satan married Him. And I understood that Satan is very jealous of my communion with Jesus through my praying-reading the Bible and journaling. Since I watched and read Pastor Mike Bickle’s teaching on meditating on His Words and praying-reading the Bible, I started to read the Bible, to talk to Jesus and to know more of Him. It gave me such a joy and comfort, as I chose not to search the Scriptures out of legalism or self-righteousness anymore. And I’m sure Satan would hate it and he would like to get rid of my Bible and my journal, to take away the good thing that won’t be taken away. I think the Lord showed me the enemy hates my walking on the right path after turning from the path of legalism, and he wants to do whatever it takes to stand in my way to the Lord. I recalled Neville Johnson’s teaching on meditation, and he mentioned it’s not easy, but the reward of meditation is remarkable and great. How much more would the enemy hate our receiving great rewards? Friend, I’m sharing this to encourage you to continue to do or start to do what the enemy hates and is jealous of. I pray that we always sit at the feet of Jesus and talk to and listen to Him, in Yeshua’s name. Have a bliss! Yunee As the deer pants for the water brooks, Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? In December 2020, I bought and read a Madame Jeanne Guyon’s book, as Brother Chris Berglund encouraged his students to read her book, “A Short and Easy Method of Prayer” in his class, Ascending Zion. It was my second time for her book to be drawn to my attention at that time, as she was mentioned in a John Paul Jackson & John E. Thomas’ book “The Art of Praying the Scriptures.” Then, I recalled the days when I visited a Christian bookstore and my church bookstore back in 2019. I found her books on the shelf, while I was looking for a Korean missionary’s book. I picked up her books to read the contents, standing in front of the bookshelf and I got to know she was from France in the old era. I didn’t buy any book of hers, as I wanted to read the book I was looking for. Now, in a year, I kept reading and hearing about her and her books and I felt it must be the Lord’s will for me to read her book on prayer. So, I read her book with the title “Experiencing the Depths of Jesus Christ”, which seems to be the newer version of “A Short and Easy Method of Prayer.” If you have not had a chance to read that book, I would really like to encourage you to get it and read. Though it’s a little book, I don’t think its influence is little at all. Now, I’m reading it again, a chapter per day, as I want to recall and chew on what I learned from the book earlier. While I was searching her books in online bookstore, I got to know more on her background. She was from rich and royal family in France. In 1664, at the age of fifteen, she was forced into an arranged marriage to a rich man who was far older than her by more than twenty years. She became a widow at the age of twenty-eight and chose not to remarry, but to be committed to the Lord for the rest of her life. She was imprisoned for eight years, after publishing the book, “A Short and Easy Method of Prayer,” considered as heretical by the Roman Catholic Church. I thought that she seemed to have an unfortunate life in a sense, but she would be the person who came out as pure gold through her sufferings and loneliness. Now her books influenced many throughout the globe and across centuries. Then, a while later when I read a Walter Beuttler’s book, “The Manifest Presence of God,” I got to know another story of Madame Guyon, which made me stunned: She was rated the most beautiful woman in Paris. The men loved to give her a second look. The ladies envied her beauty, and she admired it. But she was a very spiritual woman, and kept seeking the Lord, and realized that her pride of face was hindering her in her spiritual development. She asked the Lord to take away her pride, but her pride would not go. One day she challenged God, “God, do You mean to tell me that You are not strong enough to take this pride out of my heart?” And the Lord heard it. Madam Guyon came down with smallpox. Her face was full of pox. Her friends told her what salve to use to save her face. She said, “I’m not using any salve; I’m not saving my face; God is answering my prayer.” She recovered, but her face was full of marks. Her beauty was gone, but so was her pride. She had no more reason to admire herself in the mirror. Beuttler, Walter. The Manifest Presence of God: The Spiritual Journey of Walter Beuttler (pp. 141-142). Deeper Lift Press. Kindle Edition. In that chapter, Walter Beuttler wrote about pride, and he shared the definition of pride that the Lord gave to him: pride is the deification of self. And he continued with one of the testimonies. In his Bible school, there was a female student who had a voice and was a great singer. She was the favorite singer in the school. But the Lord said to Walter Beuttler, “I want you to go over to Susie (not her real name) and tell her that her singing is an abomination in My sight.” And he said, “Whew! Lord, I can’t do that. I have a good relationship with the students, and she has never done anything to me. That’s a terrible thing to do.” But the Lord repeated it to him. When he finally obeyed Him, saying that to her in person in his office, she began to weep and broke out into terrible sobs. Since then, she never sang. In three months, the Lord gave him a heart to ask her to sing a solo. When he asked her, she dropped her head, paused a bit and said, “I’ll sing.” And she sang. Shortly after, the school was out for summer break. And he received a letter from her: “Dear Brother Beuttler, I want to thank you for your faithfulness to God and to me for when I was singing in chapel, I was not singing for the glory of the Lord, I was singing to have folk admire my voice. I knew everybody was listening in admiration while I enjoyed their admiration. For some time pride had begun to build up in my heart, and I sang for my own glory. What you said made me realize the state I was in. God humbled me, and broke me, and took the pride out of my heart. I went to the radio station and asked them to cut for you a 12-inch record on which I’m singing for you your favorite hymns. Your grateful student, Susie” She came back again the next year and was used again in singing, but her pride was gone. Beuttler, Walter. The Manifest Presence of God: The Spiritual Journey of Walter Beuttler (pp. 145-146). Deeper Lift Press. Kindle Edition. What a story! It spoke to me much, together with Jeanne Guyon’s story. We tend to be so proud that we can be even proud of our toes! I mean it. Though we don’t speak out, saying “I’m so pretty and slim” or “My children are all smart and they went to top schools” or “I made a lot of money,” we can be very proud of ourselves in our hearts. And even if something looks good to the Lord like the girl’s singing hymns or my reading the Bible through, it can be an abomination to Him. I remember a story from Sister Margaret Seaward’s class, “Hearing the Voice of God.” The Lord told a rich lady who brought a lot of offerings not to bring offerings, saying she brought a lot of money to church, competing, and out of her pride. He is the Discerner of our hearts. Even when we do seemingly good things in our sight, He only knows our motives and our heart attitude. I learned that God hates pride. And Satan, Lucifer is a fallen angel, proud of his beauty and thinking that he will replace God. Friend, Does it speak to you? I pray that you and I always ask Him to bring anything displeasing to Him in our hearts into light, for us to repent, and we remain humble and meek, in Jesus’ name. Have a bliss! Yunee Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; |
