Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? Have you ever thought that the world we live in now or the life we live here now would be actually less real than the life in the spiritual realm? Today, I would like to share the Scriptures that keep lingering in my heart these days. “Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16~18)” Earlier this year, when I shared with a Christian friend of mine my faith toward Millennium and the destiny of many believers who would reign with Jesus, she said, “Well, I don’t care about reigning in the Millennium. I will be simply happy with ending up in Heaven.” I didn’t say further anything to her, but I pitied her in my heart, as I knew she had been vying for being on the top not only for herself, but for her kids in the temporary life here. I would rather pray that the Lord may open her spiritual eyes and she may vie for the eternal things. Recently, I read Pastor Rick Joyner’s book “There Were Two Trees in The Garden” and I liked his insight about Jacob and Esau, Reuben and Joseph in one chapter, which starts with the verse, “I have loved Jacob; but I have hated Esau (Malachi 1:2~3)” “Esau may have had a strong external character, but he was weak in spirit. He proved to be more concerned about the immediate gratification of his appetite than about his eternal inheritance in Christ. He traded his birthright as the firstborn of Isaac for a single bowl of stew! When we recognize what a profound affront this was to God and the value of His calling upon the chosen seed, we should be shocked. But we should be even more shocked when we understand just how prevalent this same nature is within most of us today. … In contrast to Esau, Jacob so highly valued the birthright that he risked his life to attain it. In many ways, he may have been more carnal than Esau, yet his heart burned for this spiritual inheritance. He was determined to obtain God’s blessing, even if he had to wrestle with God to get it (see Genesis 32:24-32). … Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn, had the same nature as his uncle Esau. He allowed his flesh to rob him of his inheritance when his carnal appetite drove him to defile his father’s bed. When Jacob blessed his sons before passing away, he only had a rebuke for Reuben. Reuben, you are my first-born; my might and the beginning of my strength. Preeminent in dignity and preeminent in power. Uncontrolled as water, you shall not have preeminence, because you went up to your father’s bed (see Genesis 49:3-4). Like Esau, Reuben may have been preeminent in dignity and power, but he was ruled by his flesh and it cost him dearly. The lack of self-control began in the Garden and is still today robbing many of their eternal inheritance in Christ.” There Were Two Trees in the Garden (The Divine Destiny Series) (p. 57~58). MorningStar Publications, Inc, a division of MorningStar Fellowship Church. Kindle Edition. And I like the late Pastor and Prophet Neville Johnson’s teaching from his experience with the Lord face to face. He encouraged the believers to fulfill their destinies, which is to conform to the image of Jesus and reign with Him in the age to come. From the experiences of his visitation to the 3rd heaven and spirit realm, he said something like this, “Going to the heaven is great. But our destiny is more than that.” And he talked about reigning in the age to come, as sons of God. I think the experiences of many saints like Neville Johnson who visited the heaven and shared the glimpse of it helped me a lot to understand what it would look like in the age to come. I believe having vision on the age to come is important, as the Scripture says, “Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God]. (Proverbs 29:18 Amplified Bible)” You know one of the criminals who hung on a cross beside Jesus and asked Him to remember him? Jesus promised to him that he would be with Him in Paradise that day. Perhaps there would be many people that would be harvested in the last days, just like the criminal who was saved right before his death. But I wonder whether the criminal and the Apostle Paul would be in the same position in the Heaven. I know our Heavenly Father is always righteous and just and there is no flaw in His judgement. Definitely, salvation from the eternal hell is great, and we can be saved by His grace only, not by our works. But, the reward to each one of us in the heaven would be different, as our Heavenly Father is just. I heard some saints who visited the 3rd heaven say people would have different kinds of houses, clothes, locations of their living and so on, depending on their temporary life here, i.e. obedience. They even carry different lights in them. If we live in this temporary life to obey His words and love Him, humbling ourselves and setting our hearts onto the eternity, we will inherit what our Father wanted to give us. Maybe some of Christians or unbelievers would continue to get away with murder in this life but be saved one minute before their death. But they might not inherit what was once meant for them, just like the first generation of Israelites who ended their lives in the wilderness, not tasting the Promised Land, except Joshua and Caleb. And it was not God’s intention. He wanted all the Israelites to cross over the Jordan river and conquer the Promised Land! Our inheritance is not just ending up with living in the Heaven. We’re meant to have the image of Jesus and truly become sons of God, as the co-heirs with Jesus. With His character and love in us, we will reign in the age to come. But, if you say, “I don’t care of my inheritance in Millennium. I would care less about reigning in the eternity. I will do what I think is right to do now!” don’t you think you sound like Esau who traded his birthright for a bowl of soup? Friend, I would like to encourage us to have courage to cross the Jordan river to get to the Promised Land. There is an eternal inheritance in that Land. The wilderness, the life here is temporary. We might be misunderstood here, or we might not receive any reward here in this life, even when we humble ourselves and serve and love others. But we set our hearts on Jesus and the age to come. I believe the life in the eternity will be more real than the temporary life here. May He continue to give us hope and open our eyes to the spirit realm in Jesus’ name! Have a bliss! Yunee Not that I have already obtained it [this goal of being Christlike] or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on so that I may take hold of that [perfection] for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:12~14 Amplified Bible) Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? In the winter, 2020, I signed up to Brother Chris Berglund’s class on Ascending Zion. In his class, he mentioned threshing floor. It was quite interesting to listen to his teaching on threshing floor, as I can’t remember listening to sermons on threshing floor in the past. Brother Chris mentioned threshing floor is where grains from harvest are detached from husks. The purpose of threshing is not destruction, but detachment. He shared David’s setting up an altar on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite (2 Samuel 24, 1 Chronicles 21). King David paid the full price for it, saying he would not offer burnt offerings to the Lord that would cost him nothing. Brother Chris shared how the word of the Lord comes to us in forms of testing and threshing floor transactions and said these invitations to transfiguration have the potential to detach us from our old way of thinking and conform us to the image of Christ. I pondered his teaching on threshing floor and transfiguration. I wanted to see how the threshing is done. So I searched it online. Though I dream of farming, I know I’m so ignorant of the process. Searching and watching it actually gave me both practical and spiritual teaching. Interestingly enough, I happened to read some articles in Succat Hallel website and found out Pastor Rick Ridings and Sister Patricia Ridings posted their writings on “The Season of the Threshing Floor and the Coronavirus Plague” that was posted back in April, 2020. I found it interesting to read and hear on the threshing floor often in that season. I’m sharing the link of the article, as I would like to encourage you to take some time to read it. It’s still up to date during this pandemic and it speaks truth that we should ponder. We are always around tough people to work with or to live with. Even if you would pray not to meet those kinds of people in your life, you should know it would be impossible. No matter where we work or go, we always meet difficult people to be with and challenging situations to deal with. It’s not because our Heavenly Father enjoys watching our pains or He doesn’t give his eyes and ears to us. But it’s because He wants us to be refined and purified. How would it be possible? If only we could allow Him to take His place in His throne in our hearts. I often ask our Father to give me His heart, as I feel it’s hard to love others with my own effort. I think if I could have His heart, it would be just natural that I could see others with His heart and His eyes. I pray that I crucify myself on the cross and only Jesus lives in me. Friend, I’m not writing this as if I have already reached the point where I should be. Even yesterday, I had an unpleasant phone call with someone I know for business. He is a Christian and very demanding and difficult person to work with. I was not in a good mood at all after the call. Yet, I chose not to slander or backbite him, instead, to pray for him and forgive him. I think I’m in the middle of being trodden on the threshing floor. Friend, I pray that you and I come out purified in this season and fruitful for His Kingdom in Jesus’ mighty name. Have a bliss! Yunee His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. (Matthew 3:12) Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? If you are given 24 hours totally free from your daily duty for your family, your work or your school and you have financial provision for whatever you’d like to do, what would you like to do? I thought if it were given to me, I would simply like to soak into the presence of my Lord. I sometimes miss my time and my place in Singapore where I lived alone and had no one to be conscious about and simply soaked into praise and prayer. It’s not because I get tired of my daily mundane duty, but because I long for some time alone with the Lord. If I were in the presence of the Lord, I know it would be better than to go to any beautiful place in the world. I could experience more beautiful and wonderful place in Him, even if I stayed in my room for 24 hours. It would be great if we could be given some retreat time. But life does not always unfold, as we like it to be. Yet our Heavenly Father knows what our heart desires are, and He is always faithful. I read a James Durham’s book, “Alert! Perilous Times: A Prepper’s Guide to the Last Days” that he had a worship room in his house. One day, he and his wife smelled the fragrance of kind of banana cake in the room. Other times when he entered the room, it was full of clouds. In that room, some people were healed and anointed. I thought to myself, “Wow! I would like to have a worship room like that in my future place.” And I continued to read what James Durham wrote. It was about John Wesley’s mother: Where is your place of intimacy with the Lord? Perhaps you don’t have an extra room to convert into a worship room. What can you do with the space you are given? I am reminded of the mother of the great spiritual leader and revivalist John Wesley. She gave birth to nineteen children and was extremely busy caring for them. How could she have a place of intimacy with the Lord? She found her place and taught her children to never disturb her when she was in the presence of the Lord. She simply threw her apron over her head and experienced her special time with the Lord. Anyone can do something like this. Don’t make excuses, make it happen. Ask the Lord to guide you through the process so it will be pleasing to Him. Where do you go to position yourself to experience the presence of the Lord? Don’t make excuses based on your circumstances. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you. You don’t need to imitate another person and do what they did. Find your own way with the Lord. Remember that you serve a creative God who never ceases to change and make all things new. Let Him guide you to the place where you can experience special times of intimacy with Him. This is a good time to ask. Durham, James A.. Alert! Perilous Times: A Prepper's Guide to the Last Days (p. 177). Xulon Press. Kindle Edition. I burst into laugh when I got to read that her place of intimacy with the Lord was under the cover of her apron. Friend, this is so encouraging to know the secret place of the mother of nineteen children and the mother of the great revivalist, John Wesley. Indeed, we have no excuse that we don’t have our own space! Friend, I pray that you and I ask the Lord to give us grace to soak into His presence and continue to have intimate time with Him, no matter what circumstances we are in, in Jesus’ name. May we draw near to our Heaven Father every day! Have a bliss! Yunee I have set the Lord always before me; Dear Friend, How are you? I’m well. One night at the end of the year 2020 when I waited upon Him, I heard His Rhema words. Then I said to Him, “Father, I want You to give me Scriptures too.” And I waited. Then the Words came, “My Presence will go with you and I will give you rest.” I was reminded of receiving this Scripture from Exodus 33:44 a day before I went to my sister’s place in California together with my mom back in 2019. It gave me such a comfort and assurance before the long trip at that time. The next day after I received this Scripture again from the Lord, I read a Walter Beauttler’s book, “The Manifest Presence of God: My Spiritual Journey.” Then, I happened to read the verse, Exodus 33:44 in his book and I felt it was the Lord’s confirmation. About a month later, I had a monthly online meeting and my pastor encouraged the members to set aside time to pray before the meeting and share what the Lord would speak to us during the meeting. So, I asked the Lord what He was saying to our meeting and its members. Then the Words, “My Presence will go with you and I will give you rest,” came to me again. The next night, I asked the Lord to give me confirmation in order to make sure I heard Him correctly and I would share this Scripture with the others as a revelation. I went to bed and had a dream. In the first dream, I kept hearing the Babylonian names of Daniel’s friends, “Shadrach, Meshach, Abed-Nego” or I, myself, kept murmuring their names, which I couldn’t even remember nor pronounce correctly. But I knew they were three friends of Daniel. I was not able to recall any scene in that dream, except I kept hearing their names. I think I heard something like they were underestimated. When I awoke in the middle of the night, I searched the Scriptures on Daniel’s friends and read the story on their being thrown into the burning furnace after they refused to worship the Babylonian idols. I also read Nebuchadnezzar, the Babylonian king saying: “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” (Daniel 3:25) When I read about the presence of the Son of God among them in the fiery furnace, I was assured the Lord confirmed that I would share His words on His presence and rest. While I read the Scriptures further down, I also found the king Nebuchadnezzar glorified the God of Israel after he saw this overwhelming deliverance and miracle. Hence, he decreed a law that anyone who speaks anything against the God of Israel shall be put to death. And he promoted Daniel’s friends in the province of Babylon. I believe this is the Word of God for you and me this year. We will see more shakings come. Yet the presence of our God will go with us and He will give us rest. When the world sees the peace we have, they will glorify our God. Even when the world is shaking, His faithful children will still prosper, just as Daniel’s friends were promoted in Babylon. Friend, Do you believe this? I do. And I think we must also play our part in order to have His presence. We must purify our hearts and mouths and walk uprightly. I know it’s not easy, but our Father made a promise in Exodus 33:19, “I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” He is faithful. When we are weak in our effort to purify ourselves, He is gracious and compassionate to His children. I think all we need to do is to ask our Father to give us grace and mercy to do His will. Have a bliss! Yunee You will show me the path of life;
Dear Friend,
How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? I like Sid Roth’s show, “It’s Supernatural.” I like Sid Roth much because he is always joyful. And I love to listen to supernatural testimonies on Jesus from the guest speakers in his show. Many times, I feel it more interesting to watch his shows than to watch TV shows. And I do not think it’s something weird or wrong to like to hear supernatural stories of our Father, as the Bible is also full of supernatural narratives. One day in the fall, 2020, I watched Sid Roth’s show where James Durham was a guest speaker. It was my first time of seeing him. Since then, I searched his books and read some of them. He used to be a chaplain in the US military and was retired as Colonel. He is one of those who are caught up to the third heaven. And he said he thinks the Lord caught him up to the Heaven, to let people know it’s open not only to some leaders in church, but to every believer. He also said he was not well-known in the so-called ‘Christian circle,’ as he served the military. And I found there was another purpose for him to be caught up to heaven and to start to write books, as Jesus commanded him to do. He wrote books on preparation for the end-time, spiritual warfare and so on. His experiences in the military were well illustrated in his books as analogy for the end-time preparation and the spiritual warfare. I think the Lord has a unique plan for each one of us and nothing in our career path and so forth is accidental. In a James Durham’s book, “Keys to Open Heaven,” he shared one of his experiences in heaven where Jesus taught him to lay his hands over people for an impartation for the renewal of minds. Then, the shape of laying his hands that was instructed by the Lord was quite special. His two thumbs were put together in the center, while two hands and other fingers are stretched out. (In the end of this blog, I’m sharing a video clip where James Durham shared this story showing his hands.) When he came back from heaven and shared it with his wife, she said holding hands like that looks like a dove. But he was not quite sure of it. Then, in conferences in Korea, he laid his hands on the people for impartation, just as he was instructed by the Lord. Later, his Korean friend who is a Torah scholar said to him, “Do you know what that is?” having his hands together the way Jesus had taught James. And he said to James, “This is the Aaronic blessing. This is how Aaron held his hands while blessing the people. It forms the Hebrew letter “shin” which looks similar to a letter “w” in English. It has two very powerful meanings. It stands for the name of God and consuming fire.” Since then, James Durham searched more on Aaronic blessing and wrote Numbers 6:22-27: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” (verse 22~26) So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.” (verse 27) And James Durham wrote: At first, I stopped with verse twenty six. However, the Holy Spirit drew my attention to the next verse in this chapter. I was a little stunned when I considered verse twenty seven in this particular translation. The way it was written opened a whole new line of understanding for me. The Lord said to Moshe, “In this way they are to put my name on the people of Isra’el, so that I will bless them.” (Numbers 6:27, CJB) The Lord is putting His name on us! He is doing this to bless us! Hallelujah! Thank you Lord! [Durham, James A. Keys to Open Heaven. Xulon Press. Kindle Edition.] And he wrote more on the verses on the name of the Lord marked on the foreheads of His people from Ezekiel and Revelation. I found it very interesting as the late Pastor Neville Johnson shared these Scriptures too, sharing his experience with the Lord in the heaven. I believe this is what the Lord wanted to teach us through them and what He wants to do on us. Friend, Do you want to have our Father’s name on your forehead? I do. Amazingly, I had two dreams after reading and watching James Durham’s books and shows. In one dream, I was in the queue outdoor to get an impartation from Pastor James Durham and I felt the strong presence of the Lord. In another dream, I found Pastor James ministered in a church in Korea and I became a member of the church and I felt the atmosphere in the church was different from others due to the presence of the Lord. I believe the Lord imparted to me to renew my mind even through the dreams. Friend, I pray that the Lord bless and keep you, and His face shine upon you. May your mind be renewed by the Holy Spirit and the name of our Lord, El Shaddai, God Almighty sealed on our foreheads forever. Have a bliss! Yunee Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads. (Revelation 14:1) |
