Dear Friend, How are you? I’m well. Earlier this year, I read a Rick Joyner’s book, The Prophetic Ministry. Interestingly, I got to read below: The popular saying that we should “seek the Giver and not the gifts” is not biblical and is actually contrary to the scriptural exhortation to “pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy” (I Corinthians 14:1). We must pursue love first if our desire for spiritual gifts is to be pure, but this emphasis does not nullify the need to seek spiritual gifts. In the past few years, I didn’t really pursue prophecy gift, but this year, I began to ask the Father to give interpretation of tongues, prophecy and discerning spirit. So, when I read Rick Joyner’s writing on spiritual gifts, I found out my previous attitude, “seek the Giver, and not the gifts” was indeed not biblical. Then, He gave me a heart to listen to Pastor John Fenn’s teachings on motivational gift. From his Old Testament survey class online, I recall his saying we are all equal, whether we have so-called 9 spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians chapter 12, 5 fold ministry gifts in Ephesians, gifts such as exhortaion, giving, leading, etc. mentioned in Romans chapter 12, or other gifts such as sewing, mechanic works, music and so forth. And he went on to say Joseph had an administrative gift from youth so that his father used him as informant: Then he said to him (Joseph), “Please go and see if it is well with your brothers and well with the flocks, and bring back word to me.” (Genesis 37:14) And we know he was in charge of Potiphar’s house: Thus he (Potiphar) left all that he had in Joseph’s hand, and he did not know what he had except for the bread which he ate. (Genesis 39:6) And Genesis 40:4 says “And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them (the chief butler and the chief baker), and he served them; so they were in custody for a while.” And below is the excerpts from weekly thought, Interpretation, Power Gifts, Gifts of the Spirit #5 in the Church Without Walls International: Other gifts There are other gifts like the ‘energy’ gifts I mentioned in the first of this series. These are gifts that move us, energize us, motivate us to do things. Paul names these manifestations of the Spirit in Romans 12:3-8 and they include such things as giving, organizing, teaching, mercy, serving, exhorting, seeing things right/wrong, and so on. These are more than our personalities, these things move us from within to interact with others, and they are as much as the Spirit of God as giving a prophecy. Paul says each person has their grace, and we can only live in our grace, not another’s. In the Old Testament we see still more gifts, especially around the building of the tabernacle of Moses. In Exodus 31:2-6, 35: 26-35, 36:1, 8, God describes men and women in whom He put wisdom as He calls it, to work with wood, metal, stones and gems, linen and weaving and sewing, and all manner of skills so they can build the tabernacle. They have that ‘wisdom’ or we might say talent or skill or know-how they are born with, because the Lord put that in them. Those things that motivate people are a manifestation of the Spirit of God as much as prophecy or healings! Friend, I realized that some gifts were discovered from child or youth, but other gifts even when we are quite mature in age. Maybe you knew you had the knack for sports, numbers, music, art, etc. even when you were little. Yet, some gifts such as cooking, sewing, etc. can be discovered at a much later point in our lives. I listened to my former church elder’s testimony who was an ambassador to China, and wrote the book, Ambassador of God. And he seemed to start to receive the words from the Lord for those he prayed for in his early 50 or so. To Him, age doesn’t matter and our background doesn’t matter. It’s all by His grace. I think I will share more on gifts later in future blogs. In the meantime, I would like to encourage us to ask the Father to use us with the gifts He embedded in us for His Kingdom. I would like share excerpts from Pastor John’s book, Return of the First Church, below, as I think it is very helpful to understand 5 fold ministry in Ephesians in house church context as it was originally intended. And it also echoed what I learned from my monthly zoom meeting that our gifts are for equipping and perfecting the saints. It’s not about our ego-booster at all. Hope this blesses you. Have a bliss! Yunee Where Are the Gifts To Be Used? In Ephesians 4:8 Paul tells us that Jesus, ascended up on high and gave gifts unto men, followed by a listing of the fivefold gifts which are for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry. He did not give offices, he gave gifts which are functions. The word gift merely describes a function not an office. For instance, the word apostle merely means sent one. So the gift of sent ones was given by Jesus for the perfecting of the saints. Their function is to start (house) churches and raise up disciples. The word prophet is one who speaks forth openly (Vine) which signifies that gift being one where a person speaks the elements of a divine message. The word evangelist describes the gift that is a messenger of good (Vine), and the word pastor describes one who tends herds or flocks (Vine). The word teacher merely describes one who gives instruction (Vine). Similarly, the word helps from 1 Corinthians 12:28 means laying hold of or helping. Governments means to guide (Vine) and so forth. These aren’t offices to be honored; they are (merely) functions at the bottom of the Temple of God’s people, serving them. These words (which described functions to the people who originally read them in the first century) have through the years been pulled out of the home context and read through the eyes of the pyramid structure and interpreted as offices to be honored, because that’s what fits in the pyramid. These functions are planted within the spirits of men and women and they will not be fulfilled until they are functioning in their respective gifts. We already assign honor to people according to their gifts, or functions in the world, but when it comes to church we talk about the office of apostle or office of prophet and our minds go tilt. We speak of someone who “stands in the office of prophet” as if the office is separate from the gift or because it’s in church the definition has changed. In a home church setting, as in the New Testament, elders are pastors who take heed to themselves meaning they watch over their own walk with God. This brings into their lives the constant reminder of accountability to the Lord. They also seek the wellbeing of the sheep as a first priority. They are people of character and maturity, with adequate life experience and stability to guide others. Their leadership is offered to others, not demanded. They know when to be quiet and let the Lord use others, and when to speak. They are apt to teach, imparting to others what they have learned, though they are usually not gifted in or fill the role of teacher, but rather as a father in the faith. ... There was no pastor elevated above all. In a house church setting, with gifts esteemed according to where they fit in God’s usage, and therefore degree of service rendered, there is mutual accountability among those who are most mature. The word elder is used in the New Testament to emphasize one or all of the following qualities: age, maturity in Christ, and/or maturity in life experience. But the real distinguishing factor is that they take heed to themselves in their faith and lives, and secondarily have a natural love for the sheep. … In authority He is at the top, but in service He is at the bottom. Apostles, prophets and the fivefold are at or near the top in terms of authority given by God, but at or near the bottom offering the greatest service, humility, and servant’s hearts of any of the gifts. ... The degree of entrusted authority in a person is proportional to the level of servanthood and responsibility. ... Therefore the reality and secret of Jesus’ church structure is not Jesus sitting at the top of the pyramid as our minds tend to think, but rather the lines of authority flow through the burden of great servanthood and responsibility. This is the Great Balance of the Father’s design with Jesus as the greatest example. Jesus was the most gifted and the greatest servant rolled into one. Therefore He is the most highly exalted Man in the universe, seated at the Father’s own right hand. By giving men great authority and power, often with signs and wonders happening in their ministries, the Father tempered any tendency for pride by making those same people the greatest servants of all. This is perfectly logical from the Father’s perspective: it assures they will be humble, transparent, and approachable. Pride should not be an issue for anyone so gifted and yet so burdened if they function in the structure Jesus portrayed. … So we see the check and balance in God’s Kingdom: the greater the authority, the greater servanthood and responsibility required as Jesus taught in Mark 10:42–46; this keeps a person balanced out. ... Jesus Himself is the greatest example of Ultimate authority coupled with Ultimate humility and servanthood with the fivefold placed right next to Him at the bottom of the living temple, the people of God. Your hands have made me and fashioned me; Dear Friend, How are you? I’m well. Have you felt it’s time for you to move from your town, job, church, relationships, etc.? Since this January, the Father in His grace let me know some changes to come in my life. I can’t thank Him enough, as He prepared my heart for a new season, rather than made me caught by surprise. Then, earlier this month, when I searched for Pastor John Fenn’s audio teachings in The Church Without Walls International website, I came to find out his teaching, When The Cloud Moves, posted in January 2018. It has a subtitle, When the grace has lifted from what you are doing, and a short explanation on his teaching: When Israel traveled in the wilderness the Lord covered them by a cloud in daytime and fire for heat and light at night. When the cloud moved they knew it was time to move on. Today we liken ‘the cloud’ to grace to do a job, to hang in there with a tough relationship, to stay at a church, and so on. When there is no more grace to be where we are, or no more grace to continue pouring ourselves out for another person, but we wonder if it is us or is God saying move on – what to do! How do we know when the grace has moved? This series is based on principles seen in Israel’s walk in the wilderness following the cloud combined with real life stories to impart wisdom for knowing where God’s grace is leading next. I thought this would be a good teaching to me, as I knew the cloud would lift up in my journey. Interestingly enough, on that week, Sister Ank Kleinmeulman in The Church Without Walls Europe posted a new video named When The Cloud Moves in Superhouse church YouTube channel. I felt the Lord confirm the cloud’s moving. I’m sharing the link of the website and the YouTube post, if you’re interested. One of the Scriptures Pastor John shared in his teaching is Numbers 9:15~23: 15 And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning. 16 So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. 17 And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents. 18 At the commandment of the Lord the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the Lord they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents. 19 And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the Lord, and journeyed not. 20 And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the Lord they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the Lord they journeyed. 21 And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed. 22 Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed. 23 At the commandment of the Lord they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the Lord they journeyed: they kept the charge of the Lord, at the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.. (Numbers 9:15~23, KJV) What I liked from his teaching was the cloud covered the tabernacle where the ark of the covenant was, not the tents of the children of Israel. Likewise, the cloud covers our heart where Christ lives, not the circumstances. And there is always peace when the cloud remained in the tent. When the cloud moves, the process might be laborious due to many people, their flocks and so on, and it may not always come in a convenient time. Yet there is peace. He went on to say there is mix of recognizing what God is doing in our heart and taking stock of ourselves. And there is indication that it’s time to move, i.e. recognizing God’s moving:
And you may see and feel running out of provision within yourself (no energy, no motivation, no patience, etc.) The cloud has not moved yet, but it has lifted up (the Lord’s giving notice). And you would know it’s time to move and you would get ready. When the cloud is on your heart, there is always rest. You know there is a provision in there. When it is God in the relationships, there is a rest. Peace and comfort. (Coolness in the daytime, warmness at night) But in the current job, relationships, place, etc. you feel you have no more place in them. And a great desire in your heart that has been dormant is now coming to the surface. Hope would arise. These are some excerpts from his teaching. To me, one of the changes the cloud is leading to is leaving the auditorium church (traditional church). As I was confirmed for house church, I have peace in not attending my mega church in Seoul any more in this transition. After the pandemic-related restrictions were lifted, there has been some criticism against those who don’t come back to the traditional church service in person, but continue to stream in online from home. I haven’t even attended online church service for more than a year, yet I don’t feel guilty or condemned thanks to the peace the Father gives me. Otherwise, I could have thought, “Will I be punished?” In peace and expectation, I look forward to the days when He connects me to people, and I would be part of a house church. In relationships, I also see the relationship with a friend of mine changed. My heart is not in it. The Father said to me that I would keep some distance yet I must continue to intercede with His love. So I do. Now, I’m expecting more changes to come in a new season. The cloud has not moved yet, but I feel like I see it has lifted up. And I am grateful for His grace, as I won’t be caught by surprise, but get prepared in peace. Friend, I just felt that I must share this with you so that you wouldn’t be caught by surprise. Look at the cloud and get prepared, when you see it’s lifted. It may be laborious, but there is always peace and provision from Him. Have a bliss! Yunee And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:14) Dear Friend, Happy Friday! I do not know about you, but I had struggles with self-righteousness and condemnation. One night when I prayed and listened to the Father, He said to me, “Now go back to sleep.” Watching the time, I said, “So soon?” I thought I should stay maybe for 2 hours. But He taught me it’s not religion, but it’s relationship. It doesn’t have a formula like 2 hours per day or so. Although I wrote to you that it’s fellowship & relationship with Him, not religiosity, I still felt guilty if I were half-asleep and went back to sleep so soon. On February 18th, I got up around 3am, and wrote down some of the dreams I had. After that, I was still sleepy, but thought to myself, “No, I must intercede for those in the prayer list. I must do that, to enter into Holy of Holies.” The night before I slept, I watched a pastor’s sermon on Holy of Holies. And he talked about golden incense which is in front of the veil before Holy of Holies. Understanding golden incense represents prayers and worship, I thought to myself that I must pray for others. Then, I couldn’t stand more than 30 minutes, extremely sleepy. Soon enough, I went back to sleep, feeling guilty. Then, I had a dream where I was carrying a bicycle in a campus. I didn’t even ride on a bicycle, but carried it and walked through rocky steps. They looked so hard and challenging, and I found myself ending up reaching a dead-end. And I had to go back all the way down, still carrying the bicycle. It was a burden. When I awoke from the dream, I knew bicycle would mean works, works of the flesh, legalism, self-righteousness, etc. And the rocky steps reminded me of what I saw in John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress, in a modern version of animation. The law or legalism was presented as scary rocky mountains or so. I interpret being in a campus as my being in the learning process (like all we are in our lifetime). I knew He was trying to teach me through the dream, and I asked Him what He exactly meant by bicycle. And He made me realize the thoughts I had during my prayer earlier on that day. I still thought I should do something in order to get to Holy of Holies. So, I have to pray long for others, and I should stay long enough for me to be satisfied. I turned the time for relationship with Him into religious rituals to achieve something. And He reminded me of what I recently reread. About 3 weeks ago, during my prayer at night, He said, “I will teach you on righteousness.” And I felt I would reread the chapter, Jehovah Tsidkenu—the Lord my righteousness of a David Wilkerson’s book, Knowing God by Name. I’d like to share part of it: “The righteousness of God is a gift, one that must be credited to us. It comes unearned, undeserved and unmerited. Indeed, the Lord must initiate the process by which we receive His righteousness. Then, after giving us a desire to be righteous, He must come to us carrying cleansing fire from His altar, to purge us and make us holy in His sight. How do we become candidates for this gift of righteousness? It happens only when we admit with true conviction, “Woe is me—I have failed. I am helpless, Lord, finished, undone. Without You, I am a dead man.” … Yet, in practical terms, many of us still believe that God expects more from us than faith. Deep down, we tell ourselves that we do not pray enough, give enough or sacrifice enough. We think God expects us to be more diligent, more disciplined and more faithful. Something inside us keeps insisting, “I can’t be righteous before the Lord without more effort, more pain, more struggle.” So our flesh jumps in and tries to help God make us righteous. Yet, all along, the only thing God has asked of us is simply to trust Him to do what He has already promised. Beloved, this is the very kind of unbelief that kept Israel out of the Promised Land. The Israelites’ sin was not just idolatry or adultery. It was unbelief—their lack of faith in God to do for them what He had promised. … this self-condemnation is the result of judging righteousness by outward appearances. The truth is, some people who led lives of sacrifice remained sinful in God’s eyes. Why? They never fully trusted that He would be their righteousness. Instead they relied on their own works and goodness. … God does not want your home, your car, your furniture, your savings or the rest of your possessions. All He wants is your faith—your strong belief in His Word. You may be tempted to look at another person as being more spiritual than you. But that person could actually be struggling hard to keep up an appearance of righteousness. As God looks at you, He declares, “There is a righteous man or woman!” Why? Because you have admitted your helplessness and you have trusted in the Lord to give you His righteousness.” Friend, Does this speak to you, too? I don’t know how many times I fell into this trap of self-righteousness and legalism. I got to hear Sister Margaret talk about righteousness in Chinese, again. The Chinese letter Righteousness consists of two different letters in it. Upper letter is Lamb and under the letter Lamb is the letter, Me. So, only under Jesus’ righteousness, I am righteous. Friend, you and I are accounted for righteousness, only when we believe in Jesus and His promises. Because of Him, the veil in front of Holy of Holies was already torn apart. If you’re like me, I pray that you and I are set free from legalism and self-righteousness. Only by Jesus’ righteousness, we become righteous. We believe in Him and by Him, we have access to the Father and to Holy of Holies. Have a bliss! Yunee “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, Dear Friend, Happy Friday! On January 1st, my niece shared a website link in our family group chat. It was for each one of us to receive Scriptures for the year, by pushing a “spin” button. It was fun, and I was curious what Scripture(s) I would receive from the Father. I received Deuteronomy 8:6~7, but I read the extended verses to verse 10: “Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you. I felt Him keep talking to me on “the fear of God” through the verses. And I also took these verses to my heart, as I literally asked Him last year to give me a land to farm including my farm house in a new season. Like I shared in some of my blogs, I wouldn’t really ask Him much for myself, yet I chose to ask Him a land, like Caleb asked Joshua. While I mediated these Scriptures, I came to think of the verse, “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth,” in the book of Matthew. And I was also reminded of Pastor John Fenn’s explaining The Beutitudes in his book, “Roadmap for Spiritual Growth.” I would like to share his insight: There are several words that Jesus could have used here to describe the earth. One word could have been the word cosmos which means the earth system, they are blessed because the whole world’s system would be given to them. And, He could have used the word that has to do with geo which means the geosphere or the geography, but, instead He used a root of that which is ge in the Greek. Ge means land. It is not talking about continents or a world system. It is talking about your land, a specific land like your home, the land that you own, your farm, your house, or your property. Jesus was saying, blessed are the meek, blessed are the teachable, blessed are those who have repented and have gone through the mourning process, who have received the comfort of the Holy Spirit and now they will inherit their land. … Blessed are the teachable for they will inherit the earth, they will inherit their land. Their land is the portion that God has assigned to you. Inherit means someone has to die to give it to you. And that is what Jesus was saying. He is the one who was going to die. You and I each have a task or a purpose in our lives. It doesn’t matter whether you are digging ditches or are a clerk somewhere, or have retired at this point in your life, there is a purpose and a plan for your life. He says you will inherit, you will walk in the things that God has for you to do. … It reminds me of something that Jesus said concerning Martha and Mary in Luke 10:38–42. Jesus was having lunch with Martha in her house. Her sister Mary was there sitting at Jesus’ feet. Martha expecting Mary to help her goes to Jesus and says, will you tell my sister to help me? Does she expect me to serve alone? Tell her to come to me. Jesus responds and says, Martha, you are anxious about many things, but one thing is needful and Mary has chosen that good part. This is a play on words. He is using some humor here although it doesn’t translate well into English. Martha was talking about serving food and saying, Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to serve alone? In the Greek the idea is that she is serving portions. And Jesus uses that terminology when he says Mary has chosen the good part (a dish or a food). So, he was saying, you are serving out portions of food but Mary has chosen the good portion. … When He says blessed are the meek they will inherit the earth and ties that meekness into teachability, He is quoting Psalm 37:11, which says the meek will inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. His thoughts have to do with this progression of growth. Everyone listening to Him that day on the mountain, knew the psalms by heart and would have immediately recalled the rest of that psalm: and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. The Abundance of Peace That is the key right there. When a person becomes meek and teachable, receives that comfort and becomes eager to learn about the things of God, they will inherit their land and be amazed at the abundance of peace. Psalm 37:11 clearly states it: we will be blessed with the abundance of peace in our lives when we start to inherit our land. This entire process produces peace in our land. Whatever our portion is to our lives, our work and family, the end result is peace as we walk with the Lord. Sometimes we have to do difficult things, things that are right things but difficult to confront, but the result is always that peace. After reading this, I mediated on Psalms 37:11 and kept “inheriting my land, my portion” in mind. Then, in late January, I came to watch a Korean pastor’s testimony in a Christian TV show. He served the homeless, by teaching them and by providing them with farming work. After years of trials and errors, he and his ministry made a community in a farm land, which consists of not only the homeless but the young and old members of his church. One of his stories that interested me was that the community decided to work for only 3 hours in the farm. They start to work when the sun rises, but they work for 3 hours. He said that they don’t work to earn money, but they participate in the work to bring a life. And he found out the homeless enjoy their work a lot, proud of their crops. When I listened to that, I thought to myself, “Hmmm, maybe I will do the same.” I was thinking of “Back to Eden” video that showed an American farmer got to understand the way to farm from the Father, not tilting the land, but the way the plants grow in wild nature, like the Garden of Eden. Interestingly enough, in a few days, when I read the Bible in the morning, John 6:27 came to me like Rhema words: Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him. Over the past few years, when thinking of farming, I would dream of having acreages of farm lands, a big community and so on. (Yes, I really dreamt big, believing He would provide all! :) ) I was thinking of a Korean medical doctor whom I met in YWAM Kona in Hawaii. He shared his dream of having a big land and providing social outcasts with opportunities to work. I didn’t know whether I would do that kind of work, or I would make a shelter, but kept his dream in my mind. Then, I asked the Father to show me what I should do in the land He would give me, and whether I can also work for only 3 hours. (I would prefer that!!!) Then, on February 5th, I woke up around 3:30am, and prayed on my bed. While praying, I was a bit distracted and I thought of this farming stuff. Then, I heard His still small voice: My daughter, do you remember what I said to you yesterday? Don’t try to do something for Me. It’s important to walk with Me. You think of good things, yet I want you to give yourself to Me. I want you to minister to Me. Don’t try to do something, but rest in Me. Only then will I work through you. Don’t feel bad about doing nothing. I’m repeating the last chapter of a Watchman’s book and Luke 7:44 (Mary’s ministering to Jesus with the fragrant oil) to you. What I want is you.” And He went on to say, “Don’t be like Martha, but be like Mary. Focus on your portion. Though you wouldn’t do that work, I will make others do that work. You minister to me and stay where I stay. You can speak to others what you see and hear from there. I choose some for doing that work to serve the homeless, and I choose others to be My priests. Each and every one of you have different callings and they are all precious to Me. So eat your portion.” So, I said to Him, “Father, then, the land You would give to me is like the Garden of Eden where I would do gardening and commune with You?” He said, “Exactly! Now you got it! :)” The other night, He said to me, “What I want from you is not your money nor your talent. Do you think I need your money? I am the Source, and here I even have many things that are intended for you guys, but you haven't asked to me. What I want from you is your whole being. Can you give Me 100% of yourself?” He made me realize He tests (proves) us like He did to Abraham, not that He lacks something. He repeatedly said He wants me to walk with Him. Indeed, I had pride, thinking I can do something for Him as if I would help Helper. He doesn’t need anyone’s help. And He kept telling me that He wants communion with me, as He had with Adam and Eve, before their fall, and as He had with Enoch. That’s my calling. He wants me to be His high priest, ministering to Him in 10 x 10 cubit of Holy of Holies. And He reminded me again that feeding His sheep is feeding with His Rhema words. And they will be healing aroma to His children. He went on to say, “I told you not to feel guilty for not having challenging life, comparing Jemma (a Singaporean missionary in Africa). Every one of you have different gifts and callings yet they are all for equipping the saints. You serve others with your portion. Be like Mary!” I said to Him, “Father, thank You so much. Now, I really have peace.” Then, the verse came into my mind: My Presence will go with you and I will give you rest. (Exodus 33:11) Yet, I asked the Father, “Could you please confirm what You just said to me?” He said, “I will. I am a good Father.” Faithful and kind, He gave me confirmation over the next couple of weeks when I read the writings of Pastors Rick Joyner and John Fenn. Even in the middle of writing the draft of this blog, He gave me confirmation through a Korean Christian song. When I thought of Martha and Mary, soon enough, I came to read John 11:5: Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. Even when we serve too many things and are anxious about too many things like Martha, Jesus still loves her. He is love. Even if we don’t understand our true calling, miss it or jump into too many things, He still loves us and gives us grace. But, I’m trying to say it would be even better to serve a good portion and live in our inherited land in peace. Friend, I don’t know whether you’ve found out your calling that our Father intends for you before the Creation, or whether you’ve asked Him about it, if not. It’s my prayer that you and I remain meek and learn from the Lord, and finally receive our land, our portion and live in peace. I recently came to read Bonnie Jones, the wife of the late prophet Bob Jones' interview article in MorningStar Journal. She said, “Bob was a prophet, but he always said the higher calling was friendship with God.” Friend, do you want that calling, too? I do! No matter what your gift and calling might be, we have the higher calling, friendship with God. I pray in Jesus’ name that we walk with Him, knowing He doesn’t need our resource, but wants us. May He use us to equip the saints, when we understand our calling. Have a bliss! Yunee O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; |
