Dear Friend, How are you? I’m well. Do you love dogs? I do. And I think they know I love them. In Korea, we have some expressions using the word, dog, but sadly most of them are words of curse or insults. In a nicer expression, people say, “Dogs are better than human beings” or something similar. Actually, I feel that they are right in some cases. My mom used to say, giving compliments to our doggie girl, “She is better than some ordinary men.” Then, one morning, I thought I could even learn from our doggie girl. In the morning, when she got up and saw me, she was just happy, moving her butt and tail. She came close to me, wanting me to pet her. It was only a few hours since we didn’t see one another, precisely during the sleep-time. But she was so welcoming me that she came to sit before me. While I pet her, I felt she was just enjoying our fellowship. She looked so content, sitting in front of or next to me. She didn’t ask me for her breakfast, or for walk. It seemed as though she said, “Mama, I missed you so much! I’m so glad to see you.” Then, I thought even my doggie girl enjoys fellowshipping with me, not asking for foods or walk. But many of us, children of God, ask the Father what we need and what we want first rather than enjoy fellowshipping with Him, our Father. I came to believe that our Heavenly Father wants us to just enjoy the time with Him, being quiet for a moment, or we could say to Him, “Papa, I missed You so much! And I’m so glad to be with You now.” I can’t recall whether it was from a Derek Prince’ book, “Faith To Live By” or other books of his, but I recall I found it very interesting to read his explanation of the name, Caleb, which means “Dog” in Hebrew. Interestingly, Derek Prince explained the character of Caleb, a man of faith, in comparison to the characters of dogs. I found more in Derek Prince Ministry’s website. I liked his findings very much. He wrote Caleb as a different spirit. We read in the book of Numbers that Joshua and Caleb were only two persons, who saw differently, with faith, than ten other spies, who brought negative reports. Some other characters of dog include: being near; willingness to go wherever you go; and walking by scent (faith) rather than sight (2 Cor. 5:7). You might want to read the article or listen to the teaching, “Caleb, Lessons from a Dog’s Life,” using the link I share here, if you are interested. Dear Friend, Would you like to be a person like Caleb to the Lord? I pray that you and I have different spirits and be able to remain loyal to the Lord till the end in Jesus’ name! Have a bliss! Yunee But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes; and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.” Dear Friend, How are you? In David Pawson’s teaching on the book of Philippians, he shared what he heard about his grandfather who was a preacher. He said his grandfather always picked up bad fruits on a plate when they were shared. And one day, people asked him why he always picked up bad fruits, and he said, “If I wouldn’t, somebody else should.” And David said the story told what kind of person he was. At the end of his teaching, he said he read many books about holiness, but he learned holiness from people around him rather than those books. I noticed he got emotional for a second, fighting back tears. I thought to myself that perhaps he meant his grandparents and his late daughter. I couldn’t agree more with David. I think it’s really one thing to talk about holiness, and another to live it out. I read a Derek Prince’s book, “Entering the Presence of God”, keeping “the fear of God” in my mind. He wrote in the book, “The word ‘Hypocrisy’ comes from the Greek word for actor. ..... You will find that many religious people use even a different tone of voice inside the church. When they pray, they take on an artificial, false voice.” I wouldn’t want to hear from the LORD in front of the Judgment seat, “You were a great actress!” That would be the last thing I would want to hear. I have been grateful to the Lord that He taught me through many faithful servants of Him that holiness is not about religious activity, and true worship is not lifting our hands, being emotional. But it’s all about obeying His Words. Two or three years ago, I listened to Pastor Lou Engle’s sermon online on “Nazarite Calling”. I smiled, feeling amused, when he said to the young, “Make your bed!” if they felt they were called. Wouldn’t it be true? Some Christians think they are doing the will of God by going to a mission trip or attending worship services or church conferences, while they are negligent at work, they don’t study hard at schools, they don’t help their family, or they don’t pay their debts. Derek Prince wrote about worship in “Entering the Presence of God” and I found his explanation on frankincense very enlightening. “Frankincense is a kind of aromatic gum that comes from trees. In its natural state, it is usually white in color and has no particular attractive qualities. But when it is burned, it sends forth a beautiful and distinctive aroma that typifies the worship. In fact, in most instances in the Bible where you find the word describing incense or scent or aroma, it refers to worship.” Dear Friend, Do you want to be a true worshipper? I do. I realized that we must be sacrificed to be burned, just like frankincense, to be a true worshipper and live holy. We must pick up bad fruits in order to give good ones to others and we must make our bed and clean our toilet. We must come to the office early to serve others better. I pray that you and I become holy and become true worshipers by our deeds and our lives, not by our words and rituals. Have a bliss! Yunee
Dear Friend, How are you? Did you ever fly in your dreams? I got to learn from John Paul Jackson and James Goll’s books on dream language that flying in dream usually communicates the dreamer has an ability to move (operate supernaturally) in the spirit realm and rise above earthly problems. What a dream! On August 8 this year (2020), I had a dream. I held a very big rectangular balloon, like a long mat with my hands. The balloon was so high that it seemed as though it almost reached the heaven. I was very glad in the dream, thinking of the Jacob’s ladder and Open Heaven. Then, the rectangular balloon became like a flying mat, and I flew sitting on it. I was extremely happy, flying in the air. When I woke up, I still had such a joy from the dream. I was more glad understanding what the flying dream meant. Later, on August 22, Saturday, my friend in Singapore sent me a link of Pastor and Prophet Chuck Pierce’ latest post online. The title was “I Am About To Clear Up Your Vision,” and it was less than twenty minutes message. In later part of his message, Pastor Chuck shared his latest dream. And I was very surprised to hear him saying a Korean girl, up front, in his friend’s church became a bed, began to fly around and flew out when the ceiling of the church was removed, and all of a sudden, he woke up. He said he saw people were transformed into their true identity for the future. He explained the ceiling could be what hinders the vision of the Body of Christ, and that it could be demons that were hidden in churches. He continued to explain that the fire of the Holy Spirit would come, as the ceiling was removed. His dream and his interpretation of the dream spoke to me a lot. I do not know whether the Lord gave Pastor Chuck the dream of a Korean girl, specifically putting me in His mind, but the whole message from Pastor Chuck did speak to me much just in time. I believe his message is for the Body of Christ, but I took it as a personal message from our Heavenly Father, too. Before then, I’d been longing to see the Lord’s face and the Angels He assigned to me. I literally asked Him to show me His face and the Angels. Then, on August 17th, my right eye started to be sore, as though someone poked it with a needle. The next day, it got worse. While I was reading the Scripture in the morning, interestingly, I read the verse: “Anoint your eyes with eye salve.” It was Jesus’ letter to the lukewarm church, and I think He told the church to seek their spiritual eyes to be opened. I also felt I would rather see a doctor and get eye salve! When I met a doctor, he said I had inflammation on my right cornea, and I got medication, which I dropped into the eye four times daily. Then, I wondered in my heart whether it would be some kind of demonic attack before the Lord opens my spiritual eyes to see a new level of realm He intended. Later, on the weekend, when I got to watch Pastor Chuck’s message: “I Am About to Clear Up Your Vision” and listened to his dream, I was simply in awe. Dear Friend, I decided to share my dream and Pastor Chuck’s message with you, as I believe our Heavenly Father wants to encourage His children. He is a Promise Keeper. He will remove what hinders our sight and what hinders us from finding our true identity. Friend, do you like to see like eagles or like hens? I pray that you and I anoint our eyes with Heavenly eye salve and see all things that our Father intends us to see, as we soar like eagles, in the mighty name of Jesus. Have a bliss! Yunee
Dear Friend, How are you? I’m well. On one Sunday in Singapore, I was doing voluntary work in reception so I came early before the Service. A Sunday school teacher for the kids came to the reception and asked the administrator whether I could help her as an assistant teacher as her assistant teacher was not able to come, with a last-minute notice. Although I wanted to attend the main Service to listen to the Words of the Lord, I also felt that I must serve the Lord when the teacher was in need of help. I found out my job as an assistant teacher was to accompany any kid, who wants to go to restroom during the class, to prepare for snacks, and to help whatever the teacher asks me to do during the class. When the class started, I saw a little girl, who came from Brazil sitting alone at the corner of the class, not being able to mingle with other kids close to the teacher. The teacher asked me to sit next to her, as she couldn’t understand English well at that time. She looked unhappy, sitting alone with her toy on the floor, at the corner. I took a seat on the floor next to her, in a bid to break the ice, smiling and talking to her. Later, I was grateful to see her open her heart and smiled. Interestingly, she moved forward to the teacher and other kids little by little on the floor. When I saw her going to the teacher, I thought of the prodigal son’s story. I do not mean she was a prodigal student. But from the scene, as she was moving forward to the teacher from the very corner of the classroom bit by bit, I was simply overwhelmed with happiness. I felt that it might be the feeling of our Heavenly Father, when His sons and daughter turned and came back to Him. After the class was over, the kids moved to one corner where their shoes were taken off and kept before the class. I saw a little girl help her friend put on shoes, even before she wore hers. She buckled her friend’s shoes, while sitting on the floor. It melted my heart, and I was really touched to see how she cared for her friend and put her friend’s need before hers. And I felt the Lord wanted to teach me through these little children. Sometimes, He uses pastors, but He also uses the little children, to show what love is. On another Sunday, when I worked in the reception, a little girl came to me and asked whether we happened to have a Band-Aid, showing her finger. I found out there was none, and thankfully she was not bleeding nor looked painful. So, I said to her, “I’m sorry that we don’t have any for now. But, can I pray for you?” The little girl nodded her head and closed her eyes. I prayed for healing. After the prayer, she simply went back to play with her friends. I do not know whether she was healed after the prayer, but I felt the little child had faith to believe she would be healed. Dear Friend, I pray that the Lord teaches us through children and that we have childlike faith, in Jesus’ name. Have a bliss! Yunee Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it,He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them. (Mark 10:13~16) Dear Friend, How are you? Hope you had or are having a good day today? One day in my church home group in Singapore, we watched a video on the Israelites’ worshipping of Baal. The Israelite went to Baal’s altar and sacrificed their babies into the fire. When they were doing this horrible thing, they still went to the Jehovah’s Temple. It was unbelievable, but the teacher in the video said it would be the same in the modern day churches. People still go to church on every Sunday, while keeping on sinning. Pastor R. T. Kendall wrote about social sins in his book, “Popular in Heaven, Famous in Hell” and he put abortion, same sex marriage, pornography, racism, sex outside of marriage, and so on. I think those sins have been influencing churches, too. Whenever I read the headlines or news articles on abortion in Christian Broadcasting Network, I get angry. I really do. I believe Jesus would do the same. And I think I can be very cynical and sarcastic toward those who shut their eyes to it or even support it in America and many other countries. I think it was Derek Prince’ book, “Blessing or Curse” where he wrote something like that it’s non-sense that Americans overprotect the rights of the children, while they kill the unborn babies. I couldn’t agree with him more. I think the regulations on childcare in the US are very strict such as not leaving the kids alone home or in cars. Not only to the children, but to the dogs and other animals, they tend to accuse neighbors of abusing them, if they found any. I’m not saying they are wrong. But I think it is absolutely nonsense that they completely ignore the unborn babies’ rights to live, claiming women’s rights whatsoever. I think the lives of unborn babies are more precious than those of dogs. I’m angry and I’m sad as their eyes were blinded by Satan and his tactics. David Pawson mentioned about Satan’s killing many Jewish babies in Moses’ and Jesus’ times, and he said there is now abortion in many Christian countries as Satan doesn’t want future Christian leaders to be born. I agree with him. I believe that even if babies are from rape or out of wedlock, God has His good purpose and plan for them. Pastor R. T. Kendall wrote in his book, “Popular in Heaven, Famous in Hell,” “I have been in the office of James Dobson and watched him weep like a child over the incalculable number of abortions in America. He sees his own ministry as saving lives of the unborn. There have been a staggering 58.5 million babies aborted in the womb in America since January 22, 1973—the date the Supreme Court verdict known as Roe v. Wade was handed down. And the number continues to grow. This means 58.5 million murders for which no one will be judged. So far, Abortions worldwide have taken more lives than all the wars, terrorism, and murders carried out by the hands of humanity over the last fifty years. There are approximately 125,000 abortions per day in the United States. Every day in England and Wales, more than 500 abortions take place. But mark it down: what is unpopular in heaven will one day be revealed openly. It is when “God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ” (Rom. 2:16).” Since the coronavirus pandemic, it is reported daily about the number of cases and the number of the dead from all over the world. We are very concerned about the death by the virus. While I was seeing the report, I wished we could have made a report on the babies who were being killed daily. We’ve seen and heard the news on “Black Lives Matter!” I agree with it and I believe every life matters no matter what color we are and no matter how old we are. Even the life that is less than nine months old does matter to God! I wished many had protested for the lives of the vulnerable little ones. I often think of Derek Prince’ teaching on the Living Sacrifice. He said that once we offer ourselves to God on the altar, He decides everything; what we eat, what we wear and so forth. I believe that once we decide to put ourselves on that altar, we don’t decide the sex and the life inside our bodies, but God does. But the enemy stirs up rebellion, shouting, “My right! My body!!” And I think things will get more wicked in the last days, as Jesus said. Yet, I think the Body of Christ should stand in the gap and live out His Words faithfully. I’ve heard that some Christians say that they agree with abortion when it comes to the pregnancy by rape. But I would like to share a story. I know a Christian lady minister who was born after her mother was raped and got pregnant. I wanted to give her a birthday present, so I asked Irene Wong, the Singaporean prophetic artist to paint for the lady. I only gave her the name of the lady and Irene prayed over her without any information on her. In a month or two when I received the painting from Irene, I just stood amazed by His love. The theme of the painting for the lady was “Marvelous are Your works” and she wrote the verse, Psalms 139:14, “I will praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” She painted a dancing lady with flowers on the background and wrote more words from the Lord, “He weaved you when you were in your mother’s womb. He had you in mind to make you for such a time as this.…” I was just blown away, knowing how good our Father is and how wonderful He is. When I met Irene to get the painting, I shared the background on the recipient of her painting. She was also amazed to know how great God is and she herself was encouraged by the Words. It was not the end. When I sent the painting to the lady, she said that the Scripture, Psalms 139:14 was the word she had recently been teaching to her little students. Do you believe our Heavenly Father orchestrated everything including her birth and the time to receive His words? No matter whether a baby is out of wedlock or rape, it matters to our Father. He created the baby for His good purpose. And He is Life! Dear Friend, I pray that you and I stand in the gap and we become a true sacrifice to the altar and live a holy life in Jesus’ name. Have a bliss! Yunee For You formed my inward parts; |
